As a Farmcare UK registered practice, Ruminant Health can provide our clients the full range of statutory testing from Routine to Pre-Movement TB visits through to Anthrax / sudden death investigations.

24 Hour Emergency Cover Provision

Following the Royal College guidance, details of Ruminant Health Solutions 24hr Emergency cover are as follows.

Ruminant Health Solutions operates a full out of hours service with its own vets. 

Call 01403 470998 for the duty vet. This phoneline covers both our Warnham, West Sussex and Hatherleigh, Devon practices. You will go directly to the on-call vet who can help with your emergency. 

Please note that, we do charge an extra Emergency out of hours fee for visits, however, we still charge the same hourly rate to day visits.​

Student EMS applications

​

We offer a broad range of real-life work experience including farm business consultancy and health planning services. We will always strive to help with placement work to bring out the best in you. To get the most benefit from EMS we encourage participation in all aspects of farm practice so days can be long with travel common.

​

Note – as we are a very rural practice, to maximise your time with us we only accept students for placement that hold a valid driver’s license. Our placements are limited to one week.
