Rob Drysdale BVM&S, MBIAC, MRCVS
Director & Veterinary Consultant
Rob has been a farm vet for more years than he would like to remember. Even through a period where he, and his long-suffering wife Bonnie, set up a beef operation to rear & finish 4,000+ dairy bred calves each year Rob continued to work with several dairy & beef operations. It was at the request of one of these clients that Rob started Bovine (now Ruminant) Health Solutions & partnering with his friend Chris Sparrow to help manage the prescription medicines through MossVet Ltd.

Working with large scale farms from Wales to the Baltics, Rob’s aim is to maximise returns for his customers through better health. His main areas of interest are improving calf health & youngstock performance, milk quality & udder health, whole herd & flock strategies for efficient production, & making best use of home-produced forages.

Oliver Giles BVMSci MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Oliver graduated from the University of Surrey & went straight into Farm Practice covering commercial farms & smallholders in Hampshire & some areas of Surrey & West Sussex. After two years he made the switch to Ruminant Health Solutions, in January 2024, to focus solely on commercial farming enterprises, aiming to develop herd health plans/discussions & making a positive impact upon the overall health of the business as a result. Although the primary focus of his role is Dairy, Beef & Sheep, Oliver can offer consultancy on small to medium scale pig enterprises.
Oliver is a BCVA Accredited Veterinary Advisor for: Johnes, BVD and TB.
Outside of work, Oliver runs a small herd of pedigree pigs which he shows nationally, winning various top accolades. He is also a British Pig Association Judge, so you may see him in the middle of the show ring in a suit & bowler hat from time to time.
Radu Morîndău MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
After completing his studies at the University of Life Sciences in Iasi, Romania, & gaining experience through several years of work in Romania, Radu embarked on a journey to further enrich his expertise in the United Kingdom. Throughout the last five years, he has been involved in veterinary practices across Wales & England, honing his skills in various aspects of farm work.
His professional portfolio extends beyond routine veterinary farm duties. He brings proficiency as a ROMs scorer, TBAS adviser, Johnes consultant, BVD adviser, & is adept in implementing protocols such as Quarter Pro and MilkSure.
Committed to the highest standards of animal health and welfare, he is passionate about optimizing farm practices to ensure the highest standards of livestock.
Jess Walker SQP
Office Manager
Jess joined the team in February 2024, after previously working at a large animal practice since 2010, where she ran a very successful internet pharmacy dealing with all aspects of the business.
Jess qualified as an SQP in both Farm and Equine in 2023 and holds a Pharmacy Managers qualification.
She is the main office contact for all things from medicine ordering to invoicing queries.
